Is there any way that you can you stop a pivot chart updating when the source data changes? Thanks Diane |

To make the pivot chart independent of the source pivot table:
Right-click on the pivot chart, and click Copy Open a new workbook Right-click on a cell, and click Paste In the new workbook, choose EditLinks Click on Break Link, then click Break Link to confirm. The pivot chart in the new workbook is now based on set values, that you can see in the formula bar, when you click on a series.
