How do I create multi choice selec drop down list in Excel please
 

In Excel I need to set up a drop down list from which I can select multiple
choices please. Eg. select multiple locations from a list of locations.

Hi Jilly

In XL2002 (XP) do the following:

Select the cell in which you want the drop down
Click on Data | Validation
From the 'Allow' box select 'List'
Type in your values in the Source box seperated with a comma
(e.g. Item 1, Item 2, Item 3)
Click 'OK'

Note: You can also enter Named Ranges into the Source box
