Sorting

Running Office 2007 on a VISTA machine. Trying to sort data but it seems the
"data" menus are all 'greyed' out-- like sorting is unavailable.. Anyone
know what causes this and what can be done to 'fix' it? Thanks!

I would check to see if the worksheet is protected.
