MSN Stock Quotes Addin fails to update
 

Anyone had problems with this addin lately???

I've been running this it for a few years now with no problems until
yesterday when clicking on 'Update Quotes' brings up the message
'Failed to get requested data'. Network connection is fine so thought
perhaps either my firewall (Kerio) or my virus checker (Kaspersky) was
blocking access so took them both down. Same problem.

Then remembered that the day before Windows Automatic Updates had
installed some security updates on my PC. Tried to use 'System
Restore' to back them out but it wouldn't let me restore to a previous
restore point (I tried several).

Any thoughts????

This is weird. Just tried again after rebooting PC. 'Update Quotes'
gave the same error message as above. Took Kaspersky Internet Security
7.0 down and tried again and now the update worked. Restarted
Kaspersky and tried 'Update Quotes' again and it failed. Looks like
Kaspersky is the culprit. Odd as I've been running Kaspersky for about
5 months now and updating MSN stock quotes several times a day over
this period with no problems.

I'll raise this as a problem on the Kaspersky group.
