Cut & Paste Conditional Formatting

Hi Everyone,

I have set conditional formatting for a range for column: =MOD(ROW(),2) and
choose grey color, so that the row will appear as one white and the next one
is grey.

The thing is when I do Cut and Paste the color has gone away even though the
Conditional Formatting is still in place, but the color is gone. Any idea to
let the color stay when doing Cut and Paste.

I've worked around it by COPY and PASTE and then delete the previous entry,
but it's just so inconvenience to go back and forth to delete the old ones.
But the Cut and Paste don't work!!!!!

Help!!!!!
Thanks,

Which version of Excel are you using? Cut and Paste works fine for me in
Excel 2003. I find it difficult to understand how the CF can be there but
not working.

Cut & Paste Conditional Formatting

I'm using Office 2004 for Mac.
After Cut and Paste and I check the CF, it's still there, but the color is
just gone.
What's going on?
