Default how do i set an equation that uses a cubic root in excel?

Hi Jamie

It's best done by logs.

If a1=8,1=3 then =EXP(LN(A1)/B1) returns 2

try
=power(number,1/3) or if as Peter wrote A1=8, B1=3 =power(A1;1/B1)
