Problem: How to make the items in the Drop Down List appear as workable web
address hyperlinks?
Here's what I did to set up this sample drop down list:
Step 1: In col. D I listed the detailed web addresses for 4 sample
links.
Step 2: For each of the detailed web addresses in STEP 1. col. D, I placed
my cursor in each cell and right clicked. I then chose "Edit Hyperlink". I
then wrote my desired description in the "Text to Display" box at the top for
each item.
Step 3: I created the "Drop Down List" in Column B16 by choosing:
DataData ValidationSettings:Allow chose: ListSource: pointed to cells
d16:d19hit ok and the Drop Down List appears in B16.
Problem:
The items that appear in the B16 Drop Down List do not display as web
address hyperlinks.
Question:
How do I modify what I've done in this simple example to create workable
hyperlinks in the B16 Drop Down List?
