If you are trying to move the whole sheet...
Right click on the sheet name... click the box that says Create a Copy Then select the Workbook you want to copy and paste that sheet too If you want to copy and paste data with out linking... just copy the worksheet info and paste special values to the new worksheet. I have done that for the worksheet and when it is reopened you are asked if
you want to update links. There is nothing in the worksheet that should update. Is there a place to change "automatic" linking? "akphidelt" wrote: If you are trying to move the whole sheet... done it on my computer (different workbooks) and I don't get the same linking of sheets. Depending on the version of excel...
Edit|Links|startup prompt button And choose the option you want. (I _think_ that this was added in xl2002, but not positive.) mendi2073 wrote: Is it possible to copy a worksheet from one workbook to another workbook without creating a link? -- Dave Peterson |
