Linking between worksheets- then sorting data
I have a list in Worksheet 1, and I link some values to Worksheet 2 by using
='Worksheet1'B1 formula. When I sort the list in Worksheet 1, the value in the linked cell in Worksheet 2 changes as well. I want the value to stay the same in Worksheet 2, and the formula updates. Is this possible? |
If you sort the data in the original list, the linked data will sort
too, and you can't change this behaviour. Perhaps you could store all the data on sheet 1, instead of separating onto two sheets. You can hide columns or rows when you want to print. sahamill wrote: I have a list in Worksheet 1, and I link some values to Worksheet 2 by using ='Worksheet1'B1 formula.
