eliminate data entered to a worksheet that copies to another work.
When posting data to one worksheet, in an Excel file with multiple
worksheets, the data from the posted worksheet will appear in one or more of the other worksheet. I had this problem when copying a Lotus wksht to Excel but I have now experienced the same problem when setting up a new Excel file with multiple wkshts. |
Hi
sounds to me like your sheets are getting grouped ... before pasting, ensure only the sheet tab of the sheet you want to paste to is white (better still right mouse click on it and choose ungroup sheets if it is an option). Do you have links in the other sheet(s) like =Sheet1!A1 or similar?
Or do you have two or more sheets "grouped"? i.e. do you see [group] in the titles bar? If so, right-click on a sheet tab and "Ungroup" Gord Dibben Excel MVP On Mon, 14 Mar 2005 07:45:02 -0800, flaguilar wrote: When posting data to one worksheet, in an Excel file with multiple worksheets, the data from the posted worksheet will appear in one or more of the other worksheet.
