Data Validation error message
Hi,
I have set up a data validation to include a drop down box of a list of yes or no on my question. I have also set up a conditional format to color the box in if the answer is no. however I'm having trouble getting the error message box to flag up if they select no. I thought I would take no out of the drop down box as one of the options, however I would really like to leave 'no' in as a choice and have the error message flag up and have the box coloured red. I would also like to have a formula set up whereby if say cell C1 is empty then to take out the information in cell A1. Can you help??? Kind regards, Peggy |
