retrieve data from worksheet
I am new to excel but I have managed to build some of the basics of what I
need. I need to keep and inventory of parts in my basement workshop. I have the worksheet/ database built with columns A-F. A is part number B is quantity. I have put together 4 forms, a main menu with 3 buttons. Each button displays one of the other three forms. one form should accept user input of part number, then display the rest of the record. sounds simple but I am not that familiar with vb. the second one accepts user input of the part number then displays the quantity, then allows user to input number of parts used in a text box and parts recieved in another text box then adds parts recieved and subtracts parts used and displays new total in another text box then writes new total back in quantityof worksheet. need code for these four text boxes. Last form allows input of new parts, all 6 col. and appends it to the db. does anyone know where I can find sample code to do this? thank you: Dennis |
