VLOOKUP

Hi:

I have a table that gives me a time. I want to use a lookup table with a
range to give me a specific time in my worksheet (col C). I am getting N/A's
for some numbers. Here is my example:

Eff Time Time A B C
14 0 30 30
30 31 100 100
125 101 130 130
325 131 200 200
345 201 230 230
459 231 300 300
505 301 330 330
525 331 400 400

VLOOKUP

You should always post your formula (eg post your top cell's formula in col
C).

Anyway, here's one guess. Data inconsistency in either or both the lookup
values/lookup col. Some/all numbers are probably text numbers. These are
throwing the matching off.

Try something like this:
If lookup col* contains real numbers
but lookup values could contain text numbers:
=vlookup(A1+0,Table,2)
*1st col in the vlookup's table array

Alternatively, the other way round,
if lookup col contains text numbers
but lookup values contains real numbers:
=vlookup(A1&"",Table,2)
