VLOOKUP
Hi:
I have a table that gives me a time. I want to use a lookup table with a range to give me a specific time in my worksheet (col C). I am getting N/A's for some numbers. Here is my example: Eff Time Time A B C 14 0 30 30 30 31 100 100 125 101 130 130 325 131 200 200 345 201 230 230 459 231 300 300 505 301 330 330 525 331 400 400 -- Donna |
VLOOKUP
You should always post your formula (eg post your top cell's formula in col
C). Anyway, here's one guess. Data inconsistency in either or both the lookup values/lookup col. Some/all numbers are probably text numbers. These are throwing the matching off. Try something like this: If lookup col* contains real numbers but lookup values could contain text numbers: =vlookup(A1+0,Table,2) *1st col in the vlookup's table array Alternatively, the other way round, if lookup col contains text numbers but lookup values contains real numbers: =vlookup(A1&"",Table,2) -- Max Singapore http://savefile.com/projects/236895 xdemechanik --- "Donna" wrote: Hi: I have a table that gives me a time.
