Populate an order form with Data

I have a workbook with two sheets “Order” and “Data”

Data Sheet Columns are A=Number, B=Vendor, C=Description, D=Cost and E=List. There are several hundred rows of actual data.

Order Sheet Columns are A=Number, B=Vendor, C=Description, D=Quantity, E=Cost, F&G are formulas and H=List.

There are 35 rows for data on the order sheet.

When I enter a part number in the first cell on the ORDER sheet, (A4) I have been trying to use INDEX/MATCH to populate the ORDER sheet columns B,C,E and H based on the like Number on the Data sheet. I’m doing something wrong.

The Number column on the data sheet is actually formatted as ‘text’ because the part numbers often have letters in them and not in any specific order.

If I have more than 35 items, I would like to have it expand, but that can be a different question.

Can I do this? Should I learn VB and make this a User Form?

Any ideas would be helpful

Thanks,

Les
