Auto fill icon...
A user called today and had a little square Auto-Fill icon covering up data
on her worksheet. She just wants the little icon to go away. Where can we turn that off? (I couldn't find the "General" group that I think used to be here) |

All you have to do is go to the menu "DATA" and select Autofilter. This will
turn it on and off. "mark" wrote: A user called today and had a little square Auto-Fill icon covering up data on her worksheet. She just wants the little icon to go away. Where can we turn that off? (I couldn't find the "General" group that I think used to be here) |

I didn't ask about about the AutoFilter.
I asked about the Auto-fill icon. Which is totally different. "ShoDan" wrote: All you have to do is go to the menu "DATA" and select Autofilter. This will turn it on and off. ToolsOptionsEdit.
Uncheck "Show Insert Options Button". The "Show Paste Options Button" annoys me also, so I have it disabled. I thought I had tried that, but I will confirm. Mark "Gord Dibben" wrote: ToolsOptionsEdit. Uncheck "Show Insert Options Button".
