col heading help
I am currently switching from MSWorks to Excel and have been unable to
figure out how to name a col instead of the "A B etc". Works had a "field name" for this. Where am I missing the info. Thanks |

As far as I know, you can't 'rename' the columns. You can 'hide' columns
under Tools Options View Row and Column Header, but I beyond that, I don't think you have any more control over it. The column designations can only be changed from A, B C...to 1, 2, 3... but
that is of no matter because they are for Excel's use only and do not appear on printouts. If you want to add Headers to your columns, simply enter them in Row 1 across the sheet.
