Name error messages...

Could someone please tell me why I get the #name? error when I open the
spreadsheet? I run macros for comments and I have the workbook shared and
protected. But sometimes when I go into excel (not always) I get the #name?
error and have to unprotect, unshare and then click in a cell and hit enter
and then all the info shows up. It is very time consuming for me. Any
suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

The HELP file gives a list of things that might give you a clue as to why you
are getting the #NAME? error in the first place.........but if the trouble
persists, your "clearing" protocol, could be automated with a macro to save
some time.

Thank you. I have read the help file and it does not seem to help because it
only happens when I first go in. I am not familar with the "clearing
protocol". Will help files give me info on that. Thank you for your prompt
repsonse. Thank you.

"Clearing protocol" is just my feeble description of the manual process you
go through to fix the problem each time.......one other thought.....the file
may be being left in a "manual caluclate" condition by some of the other
users.........maybe a macro adjustment to insure that it recalcs before
saving might help.
