How do I get the text in a cell to automatically change colour when a
particular formula or function result is achieved. E.g. logical function result "TRUE" auto text colour change to green? |

This feature in XL is called "Conditional Formatting".

Click on Format/Conditional Formatting on Excel's menubar. For evaluation a
formula as TRUE, click the first combo box and pick "Formula Is" from its drop down; type your formula (with the leading equal sign) in the type in field; then click the Format button; select the Patterns tab and pick your cell color; finally, OK your way back to the worksheet.
