Default function

I have a cell with a dollar amount and a cell for percent. If I add the $
amount it gives me a %. I need to allow for entering the % and getting the $
amount. Can you enter into a cell that has a function or do I need two more
cells for $ and %? Help I am stuck.

Not sure what you need here.

Can you show us which two cells you are working with and which is $ and %

And what you want to happen when you enter data in those cells.
