Combo Box Limits Data Entry
I currently have a spreadsheet in Excel 2003 that has multiple cells
designated as combo boxes. The data for the combo boxes comes from named lists elsewhere in the workbook. Although I want the the combo boxes to be populated from data from these lists, I would also like to allow the user to enter in a value that might not be in the list. Is there a way to do this that I am missing? Thanks, Merg -- Today''s problems don''t worry me, I haven''t solved yesterday''s yet. |

You can do this with a combo box from the control toobox, or, use the list
option of data validation and disable the alert message. -- Biff Microsoft Excel MVP "The Merg" wrote in message ...
