I have a spreadsheet with Pipe Dia in one columnn a1 and pipe thickness b2
in another column. In a another sheet i have a pricing table Pipe Thickness Pipe Dia 3 4 6 7.5 9 4 $1 $2. $3 $4 $ 5 6 $3 $4 $5 $ 5 # 6 8 3.5 4.5 5.5 6.5 7 I would like to write index or lookup function that will return the following. If pipe diameter in a1 =8 and pipe diamter b2 =6 it will return $5.5 |

You could use match to identify which column to return in a vlookup.
Assuming your table is in A1:F5 (pipe diameters in column A and pipe thickness figures are in row 2): =Vlookup(PipeDia, A3:F5, Match(PipeThickness, A2:F2, 0), 0) "joe" wrote: I have a spreadsheet with Pipe Dia in one columnn a1 and pipe thickness b2 in another column.
