Protect / unprotect function
 

I used the "Review/Protect" function to protect a workbook w/mulitple
worksheets. I am trying to edit some of the worksheets but the icon on the
ribbon is not available. How do I retrieve the option to the "unprotect"
option?

Does that do what you want to do?

Hello ryguy7272...
Not really. After going back only a couple of the worksheets are protected
while others are not. However, the unprotect button is unavailable. Any
suggestions for both my issues?

Hummm, I'm not sure I full understand your dilemma. You say 'only a couple
of the worksheets are protected'... Maybe you can give this a try:
Tools Protection Protect Workbook (or Unprotect Workbook)
