Pivot Tables
I have a pivot table which works beautifully but have and oddity that while
it doesnt affect results, its annoying and odd. In my data, I had formerly items called HDD and FIN. I pivoted over my data and these were used as a row grouping. I then change my data to read HelpDesk and Finance instead of HDD and FIN. When i refrehsed my Pivot table, it changed the table to read the new data settings but when you click on the header to select, deselect items, I can see HDD, FIN, HelpDesk and Finance. I selected HDD and FIN only and there is no data to display as these do not exist in my data. so, why do they still show in my pivot table selection options. How can i remove them? Pivot Tables
Hi Rob
Drag the filed off the PT, do a refresh, then drag it back again. That should clear all of the old items. If that doesn't work, go to Debra Dalgleish's site and run some code to clear the items http://www.contextures.com/xlPivot04.html -- Regards Roger Govier "Gaffnr" wrote in message ...
