I have a list of names such as appearing as Last, First. The names appear in
one cell. How do I put the last name in a cell and the first name in a different cell and eliminate the comma. |

There may be a better way, but one way is to save the file as a unified code
txt file then when you open the .txt file in excel it will need to go through the text import wizard in which you can choose delimited data. In this situation the comma becomes a delimiter and seperates your data in to two seperate columns. Depending on your original data you may have to deal with some quotation marks (look for the "text qualifier" box in the wizard). Good luck.
