How to sort data that is the result of a sum function
I am trying to sort 2 columns, the first being alpha names and the second
being values that are determined by sum functions. When I sort, the alphas sort as expected but the sum function cells do not, and therefore the data is no longer properly aligned. How can I sort the alpha and sum function cells together? |

Select both columns prior to sort operation. Also, if the value
returned by the sum functions changes due to sorting, you may get incorrect results. Provide more information on your exact data structure. I selected both columns. Only the alpha column sorts. The numerical (sum
function) column does absolutely nothing - doesn't sort or change any values. If I select the value column only, it still does nothing. "ilia" wrote: Select both columns prior to sort operation.
