Excel Macros - Any Major Differences Between 2003 and 2007
My department is considering purchasing a CD that provides video instruction
on Excel Macros. The CD focuses on Excel 2003. We are using Excel 2007. Does anyone know if there are any major differences between Excel 2003 and Excel 2007 in regards to macros? We want to determine if what we would learn from this CD would be transferable to Excel 2007. The company who makes the CD is not certain if what is presented in the CD could also be reasonably used for Excel 2007. Thank you very much. -bk |

Most of it will translate just fine. The big difference will be anything
about command bars or menu bars will not translate. In 2007 there are no more command bars. Everything is now controlled from the Ribbon. The difference may sound subtle but it is a big change. -- HTH... Jim Thomlinson "bk" wrote: My department is considering purchasing a CD that provides video instruction on Excel Macros.
