Large Time values not summing
 

I am running into trouble calculating large hour totals into even
larger hour totals.

1Name Total Hours
Name 1 171:06:28
Name 2 140:37:48
Name 3 87:00:26
Name 4 145:54:46
Name 5 100:19:47
Name 6 89:30:58
Name 7 86:21:33
Name 8 131:02:22
Name 9 159:13:17

Large Time values not summing
 

=SUM(B2:B9)

Format the cell as [h]:mm:ss

Result is 1111:07:25

I appreciate the reply on this. I actually tried to delete this post
as I posted prematurely. If you look at my next post, I did try that
and it still doesn't work for me. There must be some setting in my
Excel that is preventing this from working. Any idea on what that
could be?
