Formula, not the result is displayed in calculated cells - why?
When I enter in any formulas on a Hyperion derived spreadsheet, the formula,
not the result, is displayed in the cells - Like adding 2 cells looks like: =SUM(L9:L10) Not the answer it should be. |

It sounds like that sheet is set to display formulas, instead of their results.
Try this: From the Excel Main Menu: <tools<options<view tab....UNcheck: Formulas Click [OK] Or....the keyboard shortcut for that: Ctrl+ ` (The ` is on the key above the [Tab] key) Does that help? -------------------------- Regards, Ron (XL2003, Win XP) Microsoft MVP (Excel) "Michelle" wrote in message ... You could be in Formula View. Hit CTRL + `(backquote above Tab key) to toggle in/out of formula view. Or.....my money's on this...........the cells were pre-formatted as text. Format all to General then F2 and ENTER to re-enter the formula. BTW.........don't need the SUM function for every occasion. =L9+L10 will suffice.
