1) Right click on the sheet text, i.e. Sheet1. A menu appears and you should
select Insert...
2) I have no idea. I don't think it can be done.

Insertworksheet
or
right click existing tab, select insert worksheet,
if you need multiple,
so if you select (click first sheet, shift and click last) multiple tabs the
same number will also be inserted

The font size is a windows setting that will affect other applications as
well, it's under control panel displayappearancescrollbar
short cut would be right click desktop and select properties and get the
display from there
