how do I make a spreadsheet fit the right margin.
when I print out a excel spreadsheet the right margin is cut off and what
little is left is printed on another page. How do I correct this? I need to get all the data on one page. |
Hi ....,
Basically could try fit page to width, ikf you fail with other measures File, Page Setup, Page [x] Fit to 1 page(s) wide by [leave blank] tall The two dimensions are independent of one another use either or both as needed. Other tricks: You can change page margins the easiest from Print Preview. You have a choice of Landscape or Portrait (File, Page Setup, Page) Reduce the fontsize for a really large name if it only happens in a cell or two. Reduce the fontsize for an entire column(s) Turn on "warp text" (format, cells, alignment, wrap text) and reduce width of a column. You will end up with some cells having more than one line. If you can't fit on a page you should know about file, Page Setup, Sheet Rows to repeat at top i.e. $1:$1 or $1:$2 Columns to repeat at left i.e. $A:$A. --- HTH, David McRitchie, Microsoft MVP - Excel [site changed Nov. 2001] My Excel Pages: http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/excel.htm Search Page: http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/search.htm "cwood" wrote in message ... when I print out a excel spreadsheet the right margin is cut off and what little is left is printed on another page.
