Whenever I create a column heading filter and try and select data from the
drop down list (usually weeding out blanks or nonblank data) an extra drop down filter box shows up on the left side of the worksheet and I haven't a clue how to get rid of it. I use a touch pad on a Dell XPS and use Excel 2003 with Windows XP. The only way to get out of it is to exit the screen and then go back. It is very frustrating and I have no solutions looking at any of the on line help or in program help that I have with the software. |
