Default Hide/Don't Display Values

I have a secondary spreadsheet that obtains its values (text and numbers)
from a primary spreadsheet. Since some of the values in the primary
spreadsheet are blank, the secondary spreadsheet displays "0" for blank text
and $0.00 for blank numbers.

How do I hide these values in the spreadsheet, without losing the formulas?
I want to make sure that the values can be seen in the secondary spreadsheet
in the future if any valid values are entered.

Thank you.
