Not Proper!
 

Hey

I've been using the proper function this morning and its not working for
some reason.

Cell B3 contains the word: MISS
I want cell C3 to contain the word: Miss
So, in cell C3 I typed: =proper(B3)

But it didn't work. Cell C3 has =proper(B3) in it. Not Miss.

Any ideas?

Perhaps,

Tools|Options|View and un-check formulas.

Not Proper!
 

C3 was probably formatted as text, unknown to you. Just format C3 as either
general or number, then click inside the formula bar, press ENTER to
re-confirm.
