I would like to merge woorkbooks contained in a spreadsheet

Can you kindly help?

I would like to merge woorkbooks contained in a spreadsheet.
The compare & merge workbook option on my tool bar is in active. Can you
tell me how to activate it?

Thanks in advance

A spreadsheet is a generic term.

Excel uses the terms "Workbook" for a file which contains one or more
"Worksheets".

What do you want to compare and merge? Sheets or Books?

Something you should know first................Compare and merge is only
available for Shared workbooks.
