I want to create a spreadsheet with colunms for names addresses & zipcodes
that I can use with streets & trips?

Do you mean to have these names, addresses, zips located as pushpins on
Streets and Trips?

Create a new workbook.

On Sheet1 in Row 1 enter in Columns some titles.

A1.......Name
B1.......Address
C1.......City
D1.......State
E1.......Zip

Now enter the name, address, city, state and zip of each designate.

Save the workbook.

Open Streets and Trips.

DataImport Data Wizard.

Find your workbook and double-click to open.

Check the data and Finish.

Push pins will be placed on a map.

To show information, select a push pin and "Show Information"
