Numbering sheets in workbook
I have a workbook with 5 tabs with 10 sheets in each tab, can I number the
sheets under each tab 1-10 also can I number all sheets 1-50? Also if I add more sheets or tabs can it automatically change the numbers? Thanks a lot. |
What is your difference between a sheet and a tab? I use
them interchangably. -----Original Message----- I have a workbook with 5 tabs with 10 sheets in each tab, can I number the sheets under each tab 1-10 also can I number all sheets 1- 50? Also if I add more sheets or tabs can it automatically change the numbers? Thanks a lot. . |
hi,

If you mean 5 sheets with 10 pages each,
FilePage Setup at the bottom of the page tab you can type in the first page number for that worksheet. If you clrify that this is what you want, someone will probably be able to write you a code to automate it.
