Autofill
I'm looking for an autofill option in Excel 2003:
My cell C3 contains the value "sheet1!A1". I need to autofill the cells C4, to contain "sheet1!A2", C5 to contain "sheet1!A3" etc. Which shortcut/option can be used together with the autofill function? Your help is very much appreciated. |
Autofill
You have a couple options
1) Left-Click and Hold on the Fill Handle (the little black box in the lower right corner of C3) Drag down as far as you need.....Release the mouse button or.... 2) Select from C3 down through the last cell to contain a value <edit<fill<series<autofill......Click [OK] Does that help? -------------------------- Regards, Ron Microsoft MVP (Excel) "rolf" wrote in message ... Autofill
Place your cursor on the edge of the Cell C3, and when it becomes a thiner
dark cross (look alike) then drag the cursor all the way to the last cell where you want the fill to occur -- If this posting was helpful, please click on the Yes button. Regards, Michael Arch.
