I'm attempting to create a database where the A and B columns will be fixed
along with the numeric column.

Thanks. I see what you're saying. Still, is there a way to set it up without
duplicating the cells?

Go to the top tool bar, click windows, split, you will get two bars. The
rows and columns will split at the grey lines. You will see those lines and
column where ever you go on the sheet. Drag them to the row and column that
you always want to view. Then save worksheet. You will have a new set of
arrows on bottom and top for those columns and rows, on each side of the
split.
