Cannot change cell color on a particular cell
 
Using a Japanese version Office 2003 Professional. I had quite a number of
formula and worksheet in a excel file. It seem like sometime I do not face
any problem when change the color of a particular cell, (example BF102) but
recently the problem keep coming. Pls help

If the color of a cell will not change, make sure it is not protected.

Cannot change cell color on a particular cell
 
if a cell has conditional formatting, any other color formatting you
try to do will be overridden by the conditional.

say A1 is formatted (conditionally) to be white when empty, and yellow
when it contains a value.

if you've got "yes" in A1, you can try to format it any color you
want, but you'll only get the yellow as set above.
