Margins & print preview
 
I like to get the most data on a sheet for printing without micro type. I
therefore expand the margins, left and right and make the header/footer as
small as possible. I have to continually do this with each new sheet. Is
there a way to permanently change this as the default "New" sheet ?? TIA

If you search on "default new sheet" in XL Help, you can find out how to
do this in the "Create a template for workbooks or worksheets" topic...
