Is it possible to Macro a Pivot Table?

Hi Experts:

I have a document in which the data is completely macro'd, except that I
need to perform 3 Pivot Tables from the data. Is it possible to Macro a
Pivot Table? If so, how would I do that?

Thank you for any help,

Experimentation is always a good idea. Turn on the macro recorder just
before you create a pivot table manually, create it, turn the macro recorder
off, then see what it recorded.

Hi Harlan:

Thank you for the response. Yes, I did try that before I posted and I again
tried it at your suggestion. It works fine when I'm recording it, but when I
then test the Macro, it doesn't work....It gives me an error msg "AddFields
method of pivot table class failed".

Do you know what I can do from this point?
