Processing Time
Does anyone know if using structured table references is better for
processing time than simple cell references? For example, if I'm grabbing values based on: =VLOOKUP(Equity[[#This Row],[Date/Time]],MarketData[[#Data],[Date/ Time]:[Close]],3,TRUE)-VLOOKUP(A2,MarketData[[#Data],[Date/Time]: [Close]],3,TRUE) is that going to be any faster than: =VLOOKUP(A3,MarketData[[#Data],[Date/Time]:[Close]],3,TRUE)- VLOOKUP(A2,MarketData[[#Data],[Date/Time]:[Close]],3,TRUE) or am I just wasting my time reading/typing that all out? Keep in mind that I have 104,000+ rows, and every second I can save counts. |
