Prohibit manual entry via Drop Down
 

I have a Data Validation drop down, is it possible to prohibit the
user manually typing in a value other than those displayed within the
Drop down?

DV with LIST should not allow entry of data other than that which in the List.

It does not however prevent people (copy/)pasting data which is not in the
list.
