Does excel have text effects?
I know that text effects can be used in Word documents. For example, you can
get any text to blink on and off. I want to know if you can do the same thing in an Excel spreadsheet. |

Does excel have text effects?
Excel does not have the word processing capabilities of Word.
There are many text effect functions however by using the Drawing Toolbar to give effects on a range of cells. 3-d, shadow effect to name two. Blinking text is not possible without VBA code and IMO is not something I would like to have facing me when I opened a workbook. For blinking text code see Chip Pearson's site. http://www.cpearson.com/excel/BlinkingText.htm Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Sat, 7 Jul 2007 18:22:01 -0700, panda wrote: I know that text effects can be used in Word documents.
