How to fill a blank cell down to a filled cell
 
How to fill a blank cell down to a filled cell above that blank cell.
For example if A1 has Sampath and A4 has Shyla, I would like to get A2 & A3
with the same value in A1, i.e., Sampath.

Can somone who know the formula for this, please mail the same to

Select the range in question, press F5, click special and select blanks and
press enter or click OK
type an equal sign =
hit the up arrow and press ctrl + enter

Voila!
