Getting a cell reference when a value is less than 0
I have a set of monthly worksheets with dates in row 4
under each date (in row 7) I have a set of values that vary in numbers. I would like a formula that would tell me the first date in each month (or worksheet) that the numbers in row 7 are less than 0. |

Try this array formula**:
A4:F4 = dates A7:F7 = numbers =INDEX(A4:F4,MATCH(TRUE,A7:F7<0,0)) Format as DATE ** array formulas need to be entered using the key combination of CTRL,SHIFT,ENTER (not just ENTER) Biff "Bob" wrote in message ... Any way to get this across multiple worksheets (I have 9).
I have one worksheet with the results and would like to hide the nine worksheets with the dates and numbers. "T. Valko" wrote: You're welcome. Thanks for the feedback! Biff "Bob" wrote in message ...
