calculating # of days

hi
I used =DATE (b10,c10,d10)-DATE(b9,c9,d9)
what should I have done?

The formula should work as written. What do you get as a result? What are
the values you are working with? Be sure to format the formula cell for
General, not Date.

With so little information, it's hard to tell. Most likely, you should have
had entries in B9:D10 that would be valid arguments for the DATE worksheet
function.

Post the contents of B9:D10
What did you get??
What did you expect??
