Pivot Table Number Format
Does anyone know how to set the number format default for pivot tables (or
excel) to something other than what it is? For example, I want the default to be " ," and 0 digits. Alternatively, can you set the format for a group of fields vs. setting 1 at a time. Thank you. |
Pivot Table Number Format
Hi Sarah
You cannot set a default number format in PT's in any version of Excel. You cannot set it for a group of fields at a time, it has to be field by field. If the PT is on a separate sheet, you could select the relevant columns of your table by holding Control as you click them, then right click and set the number format for them all in one go. -- Regards Roger Govier "Sarah" wrote in message ...
