What to be able to return A1 then A4 then A7 and so on in the cell. How do
you do this beside writing the formula. Want to be able to use the autofill
at intervals.

Can't use autofill, but if you enter

B1: =INDEX(A:A,ROW()*3-2)

You can copy the formula down as far as required...
