Error message in my Excel sheet
Hi
I have an Excel sheet, where I have few charts and some data. When I scroll down the sheet to view one of the charts, system gives error message ' The instruction at "0x304770ee" referenced memory at "0x00610070". The memory cound not be "read". When I click OK / Cancel on this screen, I am thrown out of the sheet. Please advise how can I correct this problem. Thanks |

hi,
from your post, i don't think the problem is with excel. seems like a hardward problem with pc memory. ReBoot your pc. this will reload the memory and may solve the problem. if you get the same error message perticularly referencing the SAME memory coordinates, you may have a bad memory module or one going bad. hi again,
if the reboot doesn't fix it, you may have picked up some corruption on your disk. i would then re enstall excel before i would go replacing memory modules.
